Fall Wedding Ideas

Fall is one of the most popular times to plan a wedding. Rich hues with great accents make for a great looking wedding. Here are a few ideas to keep in mind for decorating.

Line your isle with medium or large pumpkins with candles in them to illuminate your way down.

Make the flower girls carry fall leaves instead of rose pedals to throw on the isle. This will make it look like those beautiful fall leaves fell from the trees.

Use small pumpkins as your container for your centerpieces and fill it with all your favorite fall flowers. Use small gourds and acorns as accents to decorate around the centerpieces.

Pile haystacks with different colored mum plants and pumpkins as a backdrop for your guest to take pictures as they enter the reception area. This would be a great keepsake for your guest to have from your big day!

Have fun planning your wedding! Fall has all kinds of inspirational ideas for decorating the perfect fall wedding!

Help Protect Your Garden During a Heatwave

During extreme heat, it's best to keep gardening to a minimum. Plant growth slows down during heat waves, so so as little maintenance as possible until temperatures drop some.

Here are a few tips to help your garden during this Heatwave.

-Don't over water. Plants may become waterlogged and drown. Instead try to water about a inch a water a week.

-Don't prune. Plants slow down by heat and do not need pruning to stimulate growth. Wait until it cools down some to start pruning again.

-Water plants early in the morning to reduce any chance of fungal growth.

-Add a fresh layer of mulch to your garden beds to help retain moisture.
